ONE MORE LEAP

Like thunder jolts
The voice of the referee bolts
On your mark, get positioned, GO!
Athletes like wave, race towards the finish line
They move their fist ahead of them
Being propelled by the energy within

Phew! An athlete outruns the next
Then another and another and another
Steady and strong he seems
But for a while
Suddenly,his limbs fail him
As it is when a bowl is placed on a broomstick

In agony he groans
Leaning his mass on the earth beneath him
Seconds tick
As competitors seem to approach his spot
A spin of fear grasp his mind at the sight of another
Who seem to be ahead

In dogged determination
He supports his weight on his hand
Slowly but firmly, he pulls himself up again
Devoted to his dream
He continues the race

Getting ahead of the others
He stands less than a meter away from the finish line
His bones seem to crack
As his legs wobble underneath him

Like rushing waters
A flood of courage surges through him
In the might of a conqueror
He takes just one more leap
And he becomes the gold medalist!

Like swarms of flies
Everyone reaches for the Zenith in life
We start off well
Only to grow weary half way
If you would remind your self
That all mountains are surmountable
All oceans are cross able
Then, you would realize
That all dreams are achievable
If you would just take
ONE MORE LEAP!

WHY DO “LOOSE” GIRLS MARRY FASTER?

“If this life has anything to gain at all, I’ll count it lost if I can’t hear you feel you, cause I need you…” rang my amazing ringtone by Lecrae. I picked up the sleek darling to see who misses me. It was this pretty friend of mine.
Ada (Not real name) and I met at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in our first year. We had a lot in common and she was just my type (whatever that means) LOL. Anyway, I was (and still am) literally and figuratively in love with God and I noticed her heart was committed to God and His standards too.
Well, we graduated four years later and you know how life happens. We haven’t really kept in touch for a while. I heard sometime back that she was engaged and I called to say congratulations.  We talked about how life had been since after school and how we both are still fervently loving and serving the Lord. She said her wedding was three months away and I told her I definitely needed the aso-ebi (A uniform material sold to people who wish to attend an event).

HOW TO AWAKEN YOUR PROPHETIC ABILITY

If you are female and sense prophetic gifts on your life?
Here is a bible based, Christ Centered institution to help you develop and effectively use your prophetic gifts.
In simple terms, Prophecy can be defined as hearing the voice of God and speaking what He says.
This gift is basically experienced in two ways. Auditory- Where  the one receiving the message hears words, which they then repeat or release  to those to whom one is sent.

Visual- This is referred to as The SEER gifting. Here, the receiver sees a message through some type of picture, which they then release or speak about as led.
These pictures are either received while awake by means of visions, while asleep through dreams or while half awake in trances.
Most prophetic people will experience both aspects at various times, but they tend to have one that is more dominant or frequent.
Can you relate with any of the above?

When I was younger, I had a wish. I wished that I could move from street to street selling to anyone who cared to buy.
I admired people who moved about carrying their wares on their heads because I felt they had the privilege of sightseeing and freedom of movement.
The only chance I got to see places was when we were in the car on our way to church or school.
The other times were when we occasionally visited Amusement Park or stopped by the then famous Mr. Biggs for lunch. This was in the 90’s. I soon got bored from seeing the same routes and sights.

I wished for more sightseeing opportunities and freedom of movement. I thought the only way I could get those was to be like the other children or adults who hawked their wares.
One day, my wish came to be!
My mum came across bananas sold unbelievably cheap. She bought a lot and decided to sell some of…
