ELIJAH'S BURGER

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there. So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
1 kings 17:2-6

Just recently I was studying the scriptures and I had my younger brother-Precious by me.
When I saw verse 6, I mindlessly said, "What does bread and meat taste like?"

Of course I was imagining one loaf of hot "Agege" bread (a Lagos brand of bread) and "suya"(name for roasted beef sold at street corners in Lagos).

Just then, my brother said, "bread and meat is burger". Boy! I couldnt agree less. I had to call it Elijah's burger and we both laughed about it.

Isnt amazing to know that God gave Elijah a specific address and free meal tickets at the Raven's restaurant?

Sweetheart, we must stop limiting God. He still provides in extraordinary ways and through the strangest channels even today!

As a child, we had times of nothingness in our house. My father-Bishop Dr. Peter Atulaegwu was and is a full time minister.

I saw and heard my dad pray and just before he got off his knees, there would be a knock on the door by someone who had the answer to his prayer.

We no longer have periods of nothingness but we STILL AND WOULD FOREVER look up to God for our needs. God never failed US.

I learnt from my father how to see God as a loving and caring father. In fact, we were not to ask dad and mum for anything if we hadnt first told God.

I learnt to Trust God in those periods of nothingness and I am still learning in my surplus.

God loves you
Yes, he already gave you free meal/life tickets for all the good things you desire. See psalm 34:9-10

DONT GIVE UP ON GOD, BABY!!

Love you
Anne Atulaegwu

WHY DO “LOOSE” GIRLS MARRY FASTER?

“If this life has anything to gain at all, I’ll count it lost if I can’t hear you feel you, cause I need you…” rang my amazing ringtone by Lecrae. I picked up the sleek darling to see who misses me. It was this pretty friend of mine.
Ada (Not real name) and I met at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in our first year. We had a lot in common and she was just my type (whatever that means) LOL. Anyway, I was (and still am) literally and figuratively in love with God and I noticed her heart was committed to God and His standards too.
Well, we graduated four years later and you know how life happens. We haven’t really kept in touch for a while. I heard sometime back that she was engaged and I called to say congratulations.  We talked about how life had been since after school and how we both are still fervently loving and serving the Lord. She said her wedding was three months away and I told her I definitely needed the aso-ebi (A uniform material sold to people who wish to attend an event).

7 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO AS A GUEST MINISTER (SINGER OR PREACHER)

I consider it a huge privilege to be God’s mouthpiece on earth. I pretty much like that I have to learn from Him and the capable others he has planted in my life while passing on this knowledge to others as He wills. Being His mouthpiece means I have to travel, meet people, and go to places are like or not like (yes sometimes you don’t feel like being somewhere).  This exposes me to a whole lot of information and helps me build valuable relationships. I’ve been a guest minister to many in the last twelve (12) years of my life. Pretty much since I was a teenager. I’ll like to share with you a few things I believe young people should never do when they are out as guest ministers.
1.Don’t  Isolate yourself from responsibilities There are times when the host might place you in their home or someone else’s rather than a hotel. Most young people tend to cross their legs and wait for breakfast in bed like the anointing would lift if they picked up a pin. When you’re placed in a home rather tha…
